The Exe Big Paddle is less than a mile from Exeter city centre, which has a full range of services and shops. Please be aware that with the event being on a Sunday opening times will vary.

A convienence store is situated approx 0.5 miles away, just off the entrance to Haven road – this also has a cash machine.

There are a number of excellent cafes and bars around the Piazza, which will be open throughout the day.

Double locks inn is situated on the canal and offers a wide range of food and drinks.

AS Watersports canoe and kayak shop will be open from 9.00am – 11am on the day for bits and pieces. If you are particularly keen to secure an item, we suggest you contact the shop ahead. Better still; come along to the SW Canoe Show, held the day before (Saturday the 1^st) at the same Piazza venue.
