As a non profit event, funds raised from the Big Paddle go to worthy causes on and off the water. Last year we raised money for the restoration and improvement of Symonds Yat rapids on the River Wye, a place where thousands of paddlers have over the years been inspired to take up the sport.

This year, funds, including part of your ticket fee, will go to our two nominated local and national charities - The Canoe Foundation and Hospiscare Devon. We welcome those who wish to raise further support and the Big 5 course offers the perfect route on which to challenge yourself and get some support for doing so; fancy dress optional!
