The infamous cardboard canoe race is always a highlight. Make your own before you arrive, or turn up and get building on the day.

With a huge range of gear at great prices, each big paddle will have a local shop on hand to cater for all of your gear based needs.

FAQ

WHere can I park?

There will be parking provided at each event, however we recommend sharing lifts where possible to minimise traffic and environmental impact.

How much does it cost?

Our primary aim is to get as many people along as possible and involved in paddling, so we’re putting on the events for free! If you do come along and enjoy we’ll be asking for a voluntary donation of £5 which will go towards a local charitable cause.

What if I’ve never been in a canoe/kayak before?

We have an expert team of instructors on hand to take you through the basics, and teach you all you need to know. Canoeing/kayaking are watersports, and it’s possible you might get wet, so we don’t recommend wearing your Sunday best!
